Winter parking regulations are in effect from November 1st to March 31st each year.  During this time:

• parking on city streets or in city parking lots (exceptions are under the Columbia St. parking deck and under the Pickering Parking Garage next to Kenduskeag Plaza West) in the Downtown Parking Management District is prohibited when a parking ban is in effect;
• parking is prohibited on all city streets and city parking lots outside the Downtown Parking Management District between the hours of 12 midnight and 6 AM;
• in areas not regulated by signs, from 6 AM - 12 midnight, on-street parking is allowed on odd sides of the street on odd numbered days and even numbered sides of the street on even numbered days;
• violation of winter parking regulations may result in vehicles being towed at the owner's expense.
