Metal items must be placed curbside no later than 6:00 AM on Monday, May 6th, 2013. No items containing Freon, televisions or computer monitors please.
Brush only will be picked up curbside this year!

Please place brush parallel to the curb away from low hanging wires and your rubbish & recycling containers if possible. Brush can also be brought to the Public Works Yard at 530 Maine Avenue any day during daylight hours.
Leaves and yard waste will not be picked up curbside but can be brought to the Public Works yard any day during daylight hours.
Hazardous waste items may be brought to the Public Works yard on October 5, 2013 as part of the regional Household Hazardous Waste Day. Public Works is the only facility collecting hazardous waste (oil based paints, gasoline, etc.). Therefore, please mark your calendar if you have hazardous waste to be disposed of.
Important all other items that have traditionally been brought to Public Works may be taken directly to the Pine Tree Waste facility in Hampden (or, to WESCO or Evergreen). This is not a free service and residents will be asked to pay for disposal of materials based on weight.
