Bangor Waterfront

Bangor’s Waterfront is the talk of the region.  Sandwiched between our vibrant Downtown and the new $56 million Arena and Convention Center currently under construction, you can’t find a more exciting business location anywhere in the state – and maybe beyond!

The City of Bangor has, through a 20 year process, acquired and cleaned up 36 acres of vacant industrial warehouses, rail yards, and manufacturing buildings.  The end result is an incredible mile of waterfront on the beautiful Penobscot River, with a combination of development sites, programmable event space, boat docks, and a river walk.

Development sites, owned by the City, are available and ready for business.  Sites range from less than ˝ acre to over 7 acres, and can accommodate restaurants, hotels, office, residential, or other uses.  These are prime sites, with incredible visibility, waterfront proximity, and access to all that the Bangor region has to offer. Please call Tanya Pereira at (207) 992-4236 to discuss the waterfront development opportunity in detail.
