Risk Management

Mission Statement

Risk Management is responsible for managing the full range of risks and liabilities faced by the City of Bangor.  This includes the City’s liability insurance program, self-insured workers compensation, and employee safety and safety training programs.  This Office is the initial contact point for individuals or organizations bringing liability claims against the City and works closely with our insurance carriers and claims adjusters in reviewing and responding to such claims.
