Lisa Goodwin, Bangor City Clerk was one of two Maine election officials to be appointed to serve on the Local Leadership Council for the US Elections Assistance Commission (EAC) which was created by Congress as an advisory board to provide recommendations and direct feedback to the EAC. In July, she traveled to Washington DC to attend the first ever in-person meeting of this board. She was able to network with other election officials throughout the country, learn from them and share Maine’s best practices. Congratulations to Lisa on her selection to this prestigious leadership council!
