In response to the change in the CDC’s designation of Penobscot County to Yellow, effective June 2, 2022, all visitors to City facilities and passengers of the Community Connector will not be required to wear a face covering. Face coverings will be available for those who may want one.

The City will continue to follow CDC protocols. Should the CDC change the risk level to RED, the City will return to an mandatory masking policy.

As a reminder, residents who would rather not visit City Hall to conduct business such as property tax payments, sewer bills, vehicle registrations, and more, can do so by clicking here.

If you haven’t yet, please consider getting a COVID-19 vaccine

All people age 5+ are now eligible for vaccination

While the majority of our neighbors have been vaccinated, there are many reasons why others have chosen not to be.
