Jonathan Sprague grew up in Bangor and returned after being away for eight years for education and initial jobs. Along with his wife Connie, also a Bangor native, they raised a daughter, Kathleen and son, Ben.

Jonathan graduated from Harvard College and the Harvard School of Public Health. He is a small business owner of Rocky Coast Consulting, a Bangor-based, national, healthcare consulting firm. He has over 35 years of consulting experience.

He has served on the Boards of the New England and the Maine Rural Health Associations and the Maine Hospital Association. He has also served on the Boards and chaired the Finance Committees of the Bangor Symphony Orchestra and the Abnaki Girl Scout Council.

Jonathan is a member of the Bangor Rotary Club and advisor to the Maine Science Festival. He has also been a Deacon, a Trustee, and the Moderator of All Souls Congregational Church.
