FLEET OFFICE COORDINATOR (PART-TIME)
The Fleet Division is excited to post a job opportunity for an Office Coordinator. This position is responsible for a variety of office duties with an emphasis on computerized recordkeeping and offers a flexible part-time work schedule in a great work environment. This position provides supports to Fleet Services, which is a vital part of maintaining City vehicles and keeping the City of Bangor services running flawlessly. Some of the specific duties for this position include: maintaining computer files and inventory on all Fleet Maintenance equipment; maintaining computer files of work order information such as parts, supplies, cost and supplier used on all equipment repair; maintaining and updating all equipment records, invoices, and ensuring appropriate rental charges and billing; completing employee payroll tasks; answering the telephone, greeting visitors, determining the nature of call/visits, and answering questions and/or routing parties to appropriate person; maintaining inventory of office supplies; processing purchase orders; scheduling repair of department telephone and radio systems; overseeing licensing and insuring of all City-owned vehicles; maintaining records and files of all City-owned vehicles; and assisting with preparation of annual budget.
An ideal candidate for this position will possess a knowledge of basic bookkeeping and ability to follow practical and state prescribed accounting procedures used in maintaining various financial records and documents; have the ability to use computers and standard office equipment with proficiency; be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing/email; and maintain confidentiality.

• Compensation for this position is $14.77 to $19.87 per hour and this position is scheduled for 5 hours daily (Monday through Friday) with flexibility during business hours available.
