Voters should access the Cross Insurance Center via the Buck Street entrance and enter the facility via the Southwest entrance. Overflow parking will be available at Bass Park as well as the parking garage at Hollywood Casino.

Important upcoming Election dates and times are as follows:

• Early, in-person absentee voting is taking place Monday, October 31st - Thursday, November 3rd, at the Cross Insurance Center from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm

• Election Day is Tuesday, November 8, 2016, at the Cross Insurance Center from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm

Citizens that need to register to vote can avoid long lines on Election Day by doing so in advance at the City Clerk’s office during regular business hours, Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. If a current registered Bangor voter has moved within the city, proof of the new address (a utility bill, driver’s license, etc.) is needed to update the voter record.

The Community Connector bus will be providing free rides, system-wide, on Election Day. To use the Community Connector to get to the Cross Insurance Center, Bangor voters can take either the Town of Hampden route which has a stop at Hollywood Casino or the Hammond Street route which has a stop at the corner of Buck and Third Streets.
