Representatives of the City of Bangor Engineering Department will be present on the date and time shown above to provide information and gather public comment for the Waterfront Walkway Improvements Project. This is a MDOT locally administered intersection signal improvements project that the City of Bangor will be performing. The project includes replacing the existing gravel walkway behind the Sea Dog Brewing Co. with a new 8’ wide paved walkway, installing new lights and provide rail and stabilization along the walkway. Also constructing a new 6’ wide sidewalk along portion of Front Street to connect the waterfront walkway and Broad Street sidewalk, along with new ADA compliant sidewalk ramps and crossing. The tentative construction date for this project is August of 2017. Plans are available for review at the City of Bangor Engineering Department, 73 Harlow Street, Bangor, Maine.
