8/8/2017 - Public Notices: Waterfront Proposals The below public notices are provided for projects submitted by the City of Bangor to the State of Maine Department of Agriculture, Conservation & Forestry, Bureau of Parks and Lands. Public Notice: To expand the area capped with sediment to include an additional 400 ft. by 125 ft. section of the submerged lands for water quality enhancement purposes. The sediment cap will extend approximately 125 feet beyond the mean low-water line. Public Notice: To maintain four existing float systems along the Penobscot River the longest of which extends approximately 50 feet beyond the mean low-water line for recreational public access.
