10/7/2014 - Downtown Bangor Fall Clean Up Day on October 18
Bring your rakes, gloves, and love for downtown Bangor to Norumbega Park on Saturday, October 18 at 9 a.m. to help the Downtown Bangor Partnership give downtown its quarterly makeover. From hanging the winter lights to cleaning up trash and debris throughout downtown, there is something for volunteers, of all ages, to dig into. Come all day or for just a few hours—every minute of your time makes a difference!
Support for lighting up trees in downtown Bangor is provided by Katahdin Trust Company. This year, because of Katahdin Trust Company’s generosity, the Downtown Bangor Partnership will expand the lighting efforts to include several trees along Main Street. Bangor Lowe’s Home Improvement provided a discount on the materials to create a spectacular winter wonderland in downtown.
Snacks and beverages will be provided for everyone lending a hand. Rain date is Sunday, October 19.
