Community Connector Offers Free Fares on November 30th for Rider Appreciation Day

 

BANGOR, MAINE – Ride the Bus Month will culminate at the end of this week with free fares on all routes on the Community Connector public transit system. On Saturday, November 30, 2019, the Community Connector will celebrate Rider Appreciation Day by offering free bus fares all day long.  

 

In addition, the Community Connector will operate its trolley between 6:30am and 6:00pm on a loop throughout Downtown Bangor on Saturday, November 30, 2019, to coincide with Small Business Saturday. Riders can also look forward to free reusable tote bags, T-shirts, and hats.

 

The Community Connector is a fixed route public transit system operated by the City of Bangor for the communities of the Greater Bangor Urbanized Area. These include Bangor, Brewer, Veazie, Orono, Old Town, and Hampden. The bus also provides service to Husson University, NESCOM, Eastern Maine Community College, and the University of Maine.
