2/17/2021 - Downtown Parking Ban in effect starting at 11 pm Thursday, February 18th

A Downtown Parking Ban is in effect starting at 11 pm Thursday, February 18th through 6 am Friday, February 19th, to allow for snow removal operations.

During a parking ban, vehicles may not be parked on city streets in the Downtown Parking Management District between the hours of 11 pm and 6 am. Vehicles left on the street during a parking ban may be ticketed and towed at the owner's expense.

There are three city parking lots in Downtown where vehicles may be parked from 5 pm-7 am:

-Lower level of Columbia Street deck (entrance on Hammond Street at the corner of Central Street)
-Lower level of the Pickering Square Parking Garage on the Kenduskeag Plaza side (Kenduskeag Plaza West)
-The rear of the Upper Abbot Lot on Harlow Street (area is marked with signs)

Remember, parking is also prohibited on city streets outside of the Downtown Parking Management District between the hours of midnight and 6 am through March 31, 2021. Vehicles left on the street during overnight hours may be ticketed and towed at the owner's expense.
