Council Chair Rick Fournier

Rick Fournier graduated from the University of Maine with a B.S. in Business Administration and a concentration in Finance. He attended the New England School of Banking at Williams College and recently attended Leadership Maine (Maine Development Foundation) as a member of the Chi class.

A Bangor resident for over 30 years and community banker for over 35 years, Rick retired as a Vice President from Bangor Savings Bank last year. He has served on numerous community non-profit boards that have led to leadership positions including the Bangor Y, Maine Discovery Museum, Y Alliance of Maine, and American Folk Festival, to name a few.

Rick has served as Chair for the Bangor Water District and Planning Board for the City of Bangor. He lives with his wife, Renee, on the west side of the city.
