PUBLIC TRANSIT SYSTEM DISPATCHER
The City of Bangor’s Community Connector has an exciting supervisory opportunity and is currently seeking applicants to fill a full-time Dispatcher position. The Dispatcher assists with the operations of dispatching transit personnel to ensure safe, timely transportation of Community Connector passengers. This position also assists with fleet management, ADA Paratransit program and daily operations and handling emergencies. Experience in a transit environment and/or dispatching, or administrative experience preferred. The ideal candidate will possess a valid Class B license with passenger endorsement and without airbrake restriction (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire), and ability to pass and remain compliant with DOT/FTA Drug and Alcohol Testing Program requirements. Pay range is $17.12 to 23.01 per hour for a 40-hour work week (nights and weekends included) and includes a comprehensive benefits package consisting of the following and more:
