BANGOR, Maine – Bangor Parks and Recreation is gearing up for winter with the return of its Learn to Ski and Snowboard program. This four-week series is a fun, active way for kids to enjoy the season while building confidence on the slopes.
The program runs Tuesdays, January 6–26, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Hermon Mountain and is open to children ages 6 to 12. Each week includes a one-hour lesson followed by open ski time, giving participants plenty of space to practice new skills.

Open ski: 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Transportation is not provided

Helmets strongly recommended
Parent attendance suggested for Levels 1 and 2
Ability levels range from beginner to advanced, starting with first-time skiers and snowboarders and progressing up to those ready for steeper blue and beginner black trails.

A completed liability waiver is required to participate.
