Blueprint Bangor is the City's effort to rewrite its Land Development Code, which is the set of rules that govern what can be built, where and how.

The report identifies confusing or outdated rules, highlights key challenges and introduces concepts to make the code clearer, more consistent and easier to use.
The City will hold public meetings on Aug. 26, 2025, to present the report and gather feedback from the community. We encourage residents to review the report and join City staff at an upcoming session!
