Police Department Museum

The Bangor Police Department museum contains hundreds of authentic police items dating back to the 1700s. Special displays include mannequins dressed in actual uniforms, a scrapbook of news articles going back to the early 1800s, and a mobile one-person jail cell called a "tramp chair."

The museum may be viewed by making an appointment. Please call 207-947-7384 during normal business hours (Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm).
